Personal
Son of Thomas and Audrey Finchum ... Comes from an athletic family ... His dad is a high school athletic director and basketball coach ... his brother, Luke (2-11-83), was a catcher on the baseball team at Concordia University Wisconsin and now coaches a high school JV baseball team ... his sister, Lindsay (12-24-84), is a former level 10 gymnast and Indiana state champion ... Thomas's paternal grandmother, Barbara Whiteside (a former city parks diver), noticed him jumping off houseboats on family trips, gave him some pointers and encouraged the family to sign him up for formal diving lessons ... now trains six hours a day, six days a week ... He enjoys music, computers and movies.
